Simple Guacamole Recipe
Guacamole, what else can I really say about it? Almost everyone is familiar with this popular Mexican dish, and if you ever needed a recipe, there's definitely not a shortage of them. It's a dish that has been well covered and written about, so I'm just going to cut straight to it. Below you'll find the recipe for how I make this dish. It is a simple guacamole recipe, but it stays true to its culture and authentic flavors.

Alright, so its really just as easy as that. The recipe creates a fresh and tasty guacamole every time. You can enjoy it on just about every Mexican dish or any place where you can fit it in. My favorite way to eat guacamole is spread out on fresh flour tortillas. Getting hungry just thinking about it...
In case you're looking for additions or a helpful tip for making guacamole, I've included a small "extension" section below.
Common Additions -
These ingredients often show up in guacamole -
- Jalapeno Pepper - Used for extra spice, heat.
- Sour Cream - Creamier texture.
- Seasonings - Mexican Oregano, various Chili Powders, cumin and chives find their way into recipes.
Mix and match ingredients until you find the recipe that works for you.
Don't Like Tomato Skins?
I rarely ever peel any of my fruits or veggies, but many of you can't stand tomato skins, and that's fine.
- If you wish to peel them very fast, bring a small pot of water to a boil.
- Slice an X in the bottom of the tomato about 1/4" deep.
- Drop tomatoes in boiling water for 30 seconds or so. Remove to a cold water bath. Skins will slide right off and you'll have all the tomato flesh to work with.
